Laura, originally from Ipswich, discovered her love for dance at the age of six when she joined a local tap and jazz class. This passion quickly grew and she knew it was a career she wished to pursue. During her GCSE work experience, Laura even returned to her dance school to learn the ins and outs of running a dance studio… perhaps it was always written in the stars?

At sixteen, Laura moved to London to pursue her Musical Theatre dance training at CPA studios, studying all styles of dance, as well as singing and drama.

Her journey eventually took her to New Zealand, where she met Miss Katie while performing together in Chicago. Upon returning to London, Katie reached out to Laura for last-minute teaching cover at The Little Dance Academy and what was meant to be a three week opportunity has turned into 6 years and Laura opening the first LDA franchise!

Laura has a passion for teaching, she has worked in many mainstream schools, especially providing support for children with special educational needs, and has also recently earned her Dance Teacher Training Qualification with the British Ballet Organisation.

Grateful for her journey with LDA, and the guidance of Miss Katie, Laura feels incredibly fortunate to spend her days surrounded by happy Little Dancers in their purple tutus—a job she truly adores!
