Wear

Please note that for any introductory period your child can wear anything that they can comfortably move in.
Please note that there is no set uniform for Parent & Me Ballet. Children can wear any clothes that they can comfortably move in or can wear the Ballet Bunnies LDA uniform.
Ballet shoes are optional for Parent & Me, however we would recommend your child has something on their feet to protect them, for example grippy socks or soft shoes, so they can move about freely without slipping.
Ballet Bunnies
girls
Following the introductory period children are required to wear Ballet shoes and are encouraged to wear:
- Lilac Little Dance Academy Tutu
- Ballet socks/tights
- Ballet shoes (compulsory)
Ballet Bunnies / Reception - Year 2
boys
Following the introductory period children are required to wear Ballet shoes.
Uniform is optional for Ballet Bunnies. Reception – Year 2 are required to wear:
- White T-shirt
- Black Shorts
- Ballet socks
- Ballet shoes (compulsory)
Reception / Year 1-2
Uniform is compulsory for Reception/Year 1/Year 2 Ballet.
Children are required to wear:
- Lilac skirted leotard
- Ballet socks/tights
- Ballet shoes
- Ballet Wrap Cardigan (Optional for colder months)
BOP & drama
While there is no set uniform children are encouraged to wear:
- Little Dance Academy T-shirt
- Legging/Shorts suitable for dance
- T-shirt’s will be required for performances.
Alternatively children can wear anything they can comfortably move in, but no school uniforms please.
Tap Dance
Following the introductory period children
are required to wear Tap shoes and are encouraged to wear:
(Optional Tutu/Leotard or T-shirt for girls)
- Lilac Little Dance Academy Tutu (Girls - Tap'n Penguins)
- Lilac Skirted Leotard (Girls - Reception +)
- Ballet socks/tights (Girls)
- Little Dance Academy T-shirt (Girls/Boys)
- Legging/Shorts suitable for dance (Girls/Boys)
- Ballet socks (Boys)
- Tap shoes (compulsory)
