Katie is the most amazing teacher
The Little Dance Academy is a wonderful start for little dancers, Katie is the most amazing teacher and really gets to know all of her students and shows such love and kindness each week. My daughter was super shy but Katie has brought her out of her shell incredibly and my daughter now looks forward to her tap dance classes weekly. Couldn’t ask for a better environment

Meet katie...
Born and raised in New Zealand, Katie began her dance journey at the age of 3. She started with ballet and later expanded her training to include Tap, Contemporary, and Irish dance. Passionate about pursuing a career in dance, Katie completed a Bachelor of Dance at AUT University in Auckland and simultaneously earned her Royal Academy of Dance Teacher Training qualification, becoming an RAD Registered Teacher.
Upon graduating from university, Katie began teaching dance at a number of schools and nurseries and quickly fell in love with working with this age group! Katie moved to London in 2015 and a couple of years later in 2017, The Little Dance Academy was born! Now, she can’t imagine doing anything else!

Summer Show 2026: Save the date
Our Summer Show will take place on Sunday 27th June 2027.
The show is open to all children enrolled in our school aged classes.
More information will be sent in the new year, but for now, please save the date!
Trial classes
You can book up to 3 consecutive trials for your little dancer and come and find out what our classes are all about! We highly recommend booking 3 trial classes as this gives your little dancer more time to settle into the class and a new environment before committing to the entire term.
Select your chosen class, click “trial place” and then select either 1, 2 or 3 consecutive classes. Just want to book one for now? No problem, you can book up to 2 more after your first class!
