Born and raised in New Zealand, Katie began her dance journey at the age of 3. She started with ballet and later expanded her training to include Tap, Contemporary, and Irish dance. Passionate about pursuing a career in dance, Katie completed a Bachelor of Dance at AUT University in Auckland and simultaneously earned her Royal Academy of Dance Teacher Training qualification, becoming an RAD Registered Teacher. Upon graduating from university, Katie began teaching dance at a number of schools and nurseries and quickly fell in love with working with this age group! Katie moved to London in 2015 and a couple of years later in 2017, The Little Dance Academy was born! Now, she can’t imagine doing anything else!
