Join Miss Laura at The Maqam Centre in Queens Park every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon for Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop and Drama classes!
Originally from Ipswich, Miss Laura has been dancing since the age of six and started teaching Baby Ballet at just thirteen! At sixteen, Miss Laura moved to London to pursue her Musical Theatre dance training at CPA studios, studying all styles of dance, as well as singing and drama.
Since then she has worked in many areas of dance for big brands such as Disneyland Paris, Walkers and Channel 5. Along her travels, she met Miss Katie in New Zealand where they performed in 'Chicago' together. That friendship has continued to grow at The Little Dance Academy in London.
Her most recent work includes touring as Assistant Choreographer for Hello Kitty Live: Fashion and Friends in London, Abu Dhabi, the Philippines and Indonesia. She also works as Dance Captain around the country on Evolution Productions pantomimes and performs in live shows in London.
Laura has a passion for teaching. Alongside classes at the Little Dance Academy, she teaches in a secondary school where she has supported a blind student for the past three years.
Miss Laura currently teaches at The Little Dance Academy in Parsons Green and is adored by all of her students!
We've been going to ballet class with Miss Laura for the past year and every lesson has been conducted with energy, care and kindness to ensure all the kiddies are having fun!
