Baby Ballet (Girls)

Your child can wear anything they can comfortably move in for the introductory period. Tutus and ballet attire are always welcome though not compulsory.

Following the introductory period children are required to wear Ballet shoes and are encouraged to wear:

  • Lilac Little Dance Academy Tutu

  • Ballet socks/tights

  • Ballet shoes (compulsory)

Baby Ballet + (Boys)

Your child can wear anything they can comfortably move in for the introductory period. 

Following the introductory period children are required to wear Ballet shoes and are encouraged to wear:

  • White T-shirt

  • Black Shorts

  • Ballet socks

  • Ballet shoes (compulsory)

Reception/Year 1/Year 2 Ballet

Uniform is compulsory for Reception/Year 1/Year 2 Ballet.

Children are required to wear:

  • Lilac skirted leotard

  • Ballet socks/tights

  • Ballet shoes

  • Ballet Wrap Cardigan (Optional for colder months)

Please note: If your child already has the Lilac Leotard and Skirt they can continue to wear this until they have outgrown it.

Bop/Drama

While there is no set uniform children are encouraged to wear:

  • Little Dance Academy T-shirt

  • Legging/Shorts suitable for dance

T-shirt’s will be required for performances.

Alternatively children can wear anything they can comfortably move in, but no school uniforms please.

Tap

Your child can wear anything they can comfortably move in for the introductory period and Tap shoes are not compulsory during this time.

Following the introductory period children are required to wear Tap shoes and:

  • Little Dance Academy T-shirt

  • Legging/Shorts suitable for dance

Shoes:

Tap shoes are compulsory from Junior Tap + and are available for purchase on our online store. 

Whilst Tap shoes are encouraged for Baby Tap they are not compulsory and children are welcome to wear sneakers or a shoe with a heavy sole.
